Premise:
Our protagonist is at a party and is seen to be taking vodka shots with a female character. The camera shots become blurred as the main character becomes drunk and disorientated. They are then seen to be led up the stairs by the brunette girl, and is seen to be confused and drunk. As they reach a bedroom, the shots switch from P.O.V to mid-length shos of both female characters. The antagonist is seen to be flirting with our protagonist and pushes her on to a bed, taking advantage of her drunken state. Whilst this is occuring, the production cuts back and fourth from a woodland scene. The woods depict our protagonist being watched and then chased by an unknown character. As she is running and is caught up to by the unknown character, it cuts back to the party scene where the girl is seen to be laying on the bed alone; seemingly unaware of her surroundings. This image then merges with that of her lying in a 'grave' in the woods, both of them coming together and becoming one. This links both the party scene and the woodland scene together, insinuating that the unknown character chasing our protagonist is the brunette female character from the party scene. The contrast between the pale colours of the woodland scenes, and the distorted music, compared to that of the bold, red colours and the volumised music from the party scene suggest that the woodland scene is a hallucination/warning that is psychologically apparent through our protagonist.
